The first breeder holds the name

BreedToSeed can produce 723 strains. Its makers named 39. The other 684 come out of crosses nobody curated, and the first player in the world to breed one names it - permanently, in everybody's game.

Every post below is a record of something that was logged: a player, a cross, a time, and the permanent name if one has been entered. Nothing is written ahead of the event, and nothing is rewritten after it.

A cross reads "??? x ???" until both of its parents have been bred by somebody. That is why the register fills in blocks: one discovery can make dozens of recipes readable at once.

A line report is the other half of this. Breeding a cross first is a race and happens once; growing one strain on, generation after generation, is open to anybody who arrives late.
